Possible Service Delays at Port of New York and New Jersey Terminals

An unplanned strike by the International Longshoremen’s Association that occurred over the weekend at the Port of New York and New Jersey terminals has ended and service has been restored.  However, there may be residual delays due to the work stoppage.  We will post updates as information becomes available.

Port of Doula, Cameroon: Port Congestion

For your situation awareness, there is once again severe port congestion at the Port of Doula, Cameroon.  We are currently experiencing delays of up to 30 days before vessels are able to birth.  The delays are caused by breakdown of gantry number two, repairs have been ongoing since 27 February 2015.

As we have no cargo booked into the Port of Doula right now there is no impact on US Military cargo.

Maersk Iowa, a transatlantic vessel, is delayed due to inclement weather and slow cargo operations in Newark and Charleston.  The original ETA Rotterdam was 3/23/15 07:30 hours. The new ETA Rotterdam is 3/24/15 03:00 hours.

Transpacific Pretoria ERD/CUT Oakland Change

Please note that due to delays in Los Angeles the terminal has changed the receiving window for the Pretoria. The ERD is now 2/16 and port cut will be 2/18 with late gates available for Military and Reefer cargo until 2/19 at 1630.
