Transatlantic Service – Maersk Montana

We would like to inform you that the vessel Maersk Montana will call the port of Miami. All other Transatlantic (TA1) vessels will call Port Everglades instead of Miami.

Alternative Sicily to Naples / Salerno

Maersk Line, Limited is changing our service to Catania and Sigonella, Italy. The new routing via the U.S to Algeciras with feeder to Giola Tuaro and line haul to Sigonella and/or Catania, Italy offers a faster transit with no disruption of service.  We will be working to have these changes reflected as soon as possible in the IBS system. Service Closure – Salerno, Italy

Dear Valued Customer,

This advisory is to inform that service to/from Salerno, Italy will be discontinued.

The last expected departure from Salerno is the Allegro (voyage 1604); departing April 22, 2016. Import acceptance is closed with immediate effect.

Shipments will be accommodated to and from Naples, just 40 km from Salerno, where Maersk Line offers a wide service network and two direct calls on the East-West Network. The TA5 and TA6 Services to North America and Algeciras will relay cargo to South America and the Far East. Read More...

In The Spotlight: New Italy Rail Service

Maersk Line, Limited has implemented a new rail service from the U.S. to Italy via Antwerp.  Cargo traveling on Transatlantic vessels (TA1 and TA2) can offload in Antwerp and be transported via rail to Genoa or Naples Italy with transit times of 5 days and 7 days, respectively.

MLL offers P1 service from the U.S. East and Gulf Coasts and has among the industry’s fastest door-to-door transit times to U.S. Military destinations in Italy via rail.  We also offer regular rail service from Los Angles and Oakland via Houston. Read More...

Changes to Ports of Call – Hodeidah, Yemen

Originally, Maersk Line had only ceased accepted to Aden, Yemen; however, now the decision has been taken to reject any bookings to Yemen.

 

Maersk Line has, with immediate effect, decided to stop bookings to Hodeidah, Yemen (YEAHD). 

 

All bookings currently in the system for which containers have not been loaded from origins must be canceled immediately.

 

We will provide updates as they become available.
