Maersk Iowa Delay

Update 05 – February 21, 2014 / 0257 hrs (02:57am):

  • Due to the engine breakdown in Houston, the Maersk Iowa will be delayed
  • ETA Norfolk:  February 19, 2014 at 1900 hrs (07:00pm)
  • ETD Norfolk:  February 20, 2014 at 0700 hrs (07:00am)
  • ETA Rotterdam:  March 4, 2014 at 1200 hrs (12:00pm)
  • ETD Rotterdam:  March 5, 2014 at 0700 hrs (07:00am)
  • Containers will be available to the US Government March 6, 2014 at 0001 hrs (12:01am)

Update 04 – February 14, 2014 / 1414 hrs (02:14pm):

  • Maersk Iowa (Voyage 1406) is delayed due to engine breakdown in Houston
  • To help recover schedule, we will omit Felixstowe
  • Cargo will be discharged in Rotterdam and loaded on the Maersk Ohio (Voyage 1407) to Felixstowe

Update 03 – January 10, 2014 / 0954 hrs (09:54am):

  • Pending any further delays, the Maersk Iowa (Voyage 1404) will be 1.5 days delayed into North Europe
  • It has been decided to swap the Bremerhaven and Felixstowe port calls in order to help with schedule recovery

Update 02 – January 06, 2014 / 1305 hrs (01:05pm):

  • The Maersk Iowa will omit Miami (proforma January 10) to assist in schedule recovery, which was caused by weather delay
  • All exports have been rolled to the Maersk Ohio (Voyage 1404)
  • All imports will be discharged in Charleston to be trucked/railed to final destinations

Update 01 – December 12, 2013 / 2256 hrs (10:56pm):

Maersk Iowa voyage 1404 (TA2 Service) will omit Savannah (proforma January 02) as part of the holiday contingency plans.
