Temporary Closure of port of Aden, Yemen

As most of you are aware, Saudi Arabia is leading the military initiative from coalition partners in the south of Yemen. The operations started yesterday afternoon and continue.

Kindly be guided that entire city of Aden including the port is closed. All our agents offices (with the exception of Aden) are open for business, and all staff along with families are reported safe.

The vessel calls in port of Aden are cancelled by all carriers, and operations from/ to Hodeidah port is normal currently. We are holding Aden destined cargo at Jeddah port, and working at alternative options to transship -on the water- cargo to Salalah wherever manageable. The next scheduled call to Aden of our foreign feeder operator is planned in the first week of April.”

We will keep you posted on any further developments and when port of Aden is fully operational again.
