Middle East Holiday Schedule

NOTE:

Exact dates of Islamic holidays depend on the sighting of the moon

One of the biggest impacts on the trucking market in Pakistan and Afghanistan is during the Eid Holidays in which movement usually stops one week prior to Eid and resumes one week after the Eid.

During holidays in Iraq, Jordan, and Kuwait, all governmental sectors including customs will be off. Ports as dock will be working but no containers can be gated-out or delivered as no customs.

UAE terminal operations are open throughout the year; during the holidays operations are managed using skeleton staff. Online customs approval functions throughout the year but Municipality and Customs inspection authorities will not be functioniong during the holiday.
