Maersk Iowa, a transatlantic vessel, is delayed due to inclement weather and slow cargo operations in Newark and Charleston.  The original ETA Rotterdam was 3/23/15 07:30 hours. The new ETA Rotterdam is 3/24/15 03:00 hours.

APM Update – New York/New Jersey

Due to the deteriorating weather conditions in the NY/NJ area APM is currently in the process of closing down gate operations for 3:00PM today, Monday, Feb., 2nd.

All containers that are still within FT will be granted one extra day.

APMT Winter Weather Advisory

All Marine Terminals in the Port of New York and New Jersey will have a delayed opening at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 2nd. There is a great deal of uncertainty with this particular storm so it is subject to change. An update will be provided after 6:00 AM. In order to facilitate snow removal and salting operations, there will be no truck queuing permitted until after 9:30 AM – Port Authority of NY/NJ

WINTER STORM ADVISORY – TERMINAL UPDATE

A winter storm of historic proportions is expected to hit the Port of New York and New Jersey over the next 36 hours. Total snow accumulation is likely to exceed two feet  throughout the Port.  With the expected gale force winds, drifts could be even higher.  All Marine Terminals anticipate closing today by 3:00 PM but that time may be adjusted (earlier or later) based on changing weather conditions.    All terminals will be closed on Tuesday January 27th .   A decision about Wednesday will be made by noon tomorrow.  Read More...
