Port Omission: Los Angeles, Oakland, and Dutch Harbor (nonflag SL Racer)

August 13, 2014

The Sea Land Racer (voyage 1423) will be omitting NAM (North America), due to the holiday in Japan.

  • Nagoya-destined cargo on the SL Racer (voyage 1421) that departed from Los Angeles on July 22 will not make direct calling to the destination due to this blank sailing; cargo will roll at transshipment port Kwangyang to connect to the SL Charger (voyage 1414) with one week delay

With not TP5 sailing in Week 36 (which was supposed to depart Los Angeles on September 3 but is now cancelled), we will action the following contingency plan:

  • From Los Angeles, Japan-discharged/relayed cargo will roll one week to Week 37’s SL Charger (voyage 1415)
  • Busan/Kwangyang-discharged/relayed cargo will be transferred to the TP6 Maersk Alfirk (voyage 144N) (+13 days)
  • From Oakland, Japan-discharged/relayed cargo will roll one week to Week 37’s SL Charger (voyage 1415)
  • Busan/Kwangyang-discharged/relayed cargo can be booked to the TP8 CMA CGM Medea (voyage 662W) (+13 days)
  • From Dutch Harbor, all bookings can be either advanced to Week 35’s or delayed to Week 37’s TP5 sailings

Port Omission: Felixstowe, UK

August 11, 2014
  • Due to unexpected bad weather in Felixstowe, and the subsequent expected impact on the berthing line-up, it has been decided to divert the SL Eagle to London Gateway, arriving August 13, 2014 at 2200 hrs (10:00pm) local time
  • Imports into Great Britain will be discharged in London Gateway and will be re-routed from there
  • Imports into France will be kept on board for discharge in Bremerhaven and will be re-routed on AE2/AE6 back to Le Havre; cargo will discharge on August 29, 2014, which will be a delay of 7 days on arrival
  • Exports to North America (NAM) currently booked will be re-planned to the next vessel (the Maersk Iowa) and will incur a delay of 7 days

Maersk Denver (Voyage 1406/1407) Delay and Contingency

The Maersk Denver’s scheduled arrival into North America (NAM) is delayed due to engine repairs in Jawaharlal Nehru.  To assist in schedule recovery, the SECOND (outbound) Newark port call will be cancelled.  All export cargo currently booked to the Maersk Denver (voyage 1407) ex Newark will be planned for on the FIRST (inbound) Newark port call.  Please note these changes impact the cargo cut-offs at all NAM ports.  Revisions are per below:

  • Due to the engine breakdown in Houston, the Maersk Iowa will be delayed
  • ETA Norfolk:  February 19, 2014 at 1900 hrs (07:00pm)
  • ETD Norfolk:  February 20, 2014 at 0700 hrs (07:00am)
  • ETA Rotterdam:  March 4, 2014 at 1200 hrs (12:00pm)
  • ETD Rotterdam:  March 5, 2014 at 0700 hrs (07:00am)
  • Containers will be available to the US Government March 6, 2014 at 0001 hrs (12:01am)

Maersk Utah (MECL2 Service) to Omit Port Said

February 19, 2014
  • Due to Port Said berth congestion, Maersk Utah (Voayge 1403) will not take berth on arrival and her berthing window is still uncertain
  • In order to protect rotation moving forward, it has been decided to omit Port Said and induce Malta for discharge purposes only
  • Discharge units planned for Port Said currently onboard will be discharged at Malta
  • Part of this cargo will be connected from there to final destination and remaining cargo will be repatriated to Port Said

Aqaba Port Omissions: Maersk Idaho and Maersk Utah

  • We would like to inform you of two upcoming vessel omissions on the MECL2 service
  • During Week 05, the Maersk Idaho (Voyage 1402) will omit her Aqaba call on February 1, 2014
  • During Week 07, the Maersk Utah (Voyage 1404) will omit her Aqaba call on February 15, 2014
  • The omissions come due to the scheduled dry-docking of these vessels

Barge Omits Port of Philadelphia

Maersk Missouri (Voyage 1402) Delay into Rotterdam and Omit Felixstowe

January 6, 2014
  • Maersk Missouri (TA2 Service) will arrive Rotterdam one day late (January 9, 2014 at 1530 hrs) due to severe weather en route in the Atlantic Ocean
  • Maersk Missouri will omit Felixstowe to recover schedule; all Felixstowe imports will discharge Rotterdam and catch the Maersk Montana (Voyage 1402) back to Felixstowe
  • Maersk Missouri will call Bremerhaven about 12 hours late (January 11, 2014 at 0600 hrs) due to heavy weather en route to Rotterdam
