WINTER STORM ADVISORY – TERMINAL UPDATE

A winter storm of historic proportions is expected to hit the Port of New York and New Jersey over the next 36 hours. Total snow accumulation is likely to exceed two feet  throughout the Port.  With the expected gale force winds, drifts could be even higher.  All Marine Terminals anticipate closing today by 3:00 PM but that time may be adjusted (earlier or later) based on changing weather conditions.    All terminals will be closed on Tuesday January 27th .   A decision about Wednesday will be made by noon tomorrow.  Read More...

Update: Severe Storm in Northern Europe Affecting TA2

The Port of Bremerhaven stopped cargo operations on 22nd October at 2:30 due to high winds.  They are expected to resume operations around 14:00 today.  TA2 vessel, Maersk Missouri, was not able to enter the port yesterday but expects to enter this morning. Read More...

Severe Storm in Northern Europe Affecting TA2 Cargo Delivery

Northern Europe is experiencing a severe storm, expected to last for another 24 hours.  Currently, Felixstowe stopped cargo operations at 21st October 0800 GMT.  Rotterdam is expected to stop cargo operations at 21st October 1600 CET, as well.  TA2 vessel, Maersk Missouri, reports that cargo imports are currently delayed. Flooding in Afghanistan

Due to heavy raining in the last two days, there is a flooding situation in the Tashkor Ghan area between Mazar-e-Sharif and Pul-e-Khomri, which the road has been completely destroyed and will require five to six (5-6) days to repair.  This will affect lifting/delivery of cargo from Hairaton and Sher Khan Bandar ports and from Camp Marmal/Camp Pratt.
